My USB drive (256mB) is playing up.

It was working fine, i removed it to access it on another computer and it asked me to reformat drive and wont let me access my files. I really need some files off this drive as they are for a school assingment and my only copies are on the drive.

Please Help.

if you formatted the drive then all of the files are gone, if you haven't put anything on it you may be able to recover the files

No, i havent formatted yet, but it wont let me access drive without formatting so i dont know how to get these files off it...

is this on your original PC or on the other PC ?

I get the message on all 3 computers ive tried it on.

Sounds like the drives file system has corrupted you may have to reformat the drive to make it useable again, but i would be wary of putting vip files on that drive again...
