I get a usb not recognized message when I plug in a usb device in any
of my usb ports. If I go to the device manager and delete the usb
controllers and usb root hubs and then choose scan for hardware
changes in the action tab page the usb device starts to work. Then
approximately 10 minutes later I get the USB not recognized error
message again.
I don't know if the following has anything to do with this but I
recently got a imminent hard drive failure message. I've backed up
most of my files though I couldn't do it on a USB drive.
What could cause a working USB device to work for 10 minutes and then
stop working.
