Due to complications when I created a new profile for work, Excel, PPT and
Word from my Office Ultimate 2007 stopped working properly. I never get
beyond the "Configuring" screen when I try to start them. Other Office
programs start just fine.

I have rebooted, repaired, uinstalled and reinstalled. Nothing seems to
work. Some file is corrupted and keeps sending me to the configuring screen
and the ultimate reboot.

I also noticed something strange in options. A lot of the entries are in
some form of Chinese - I can't get any changes to stick.

Is there any way I can COMPLETELY wipe Office and do a clean reinstall?

Hi Kathy,

To uninstall in XP,
Start>Settings>Control Panel then click Add or Remove a program

In Vista
Start>Control Panel>Programs then click Uninstall a program

HTH

Thanks - I know how to uninstall - I've already done that several times. I am
still not able to open Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Do you have any other
ideas?
