URGENT: Dynamic controls and dynamic events

Hi All,

I have some questions for things that i couldn't get around. if someone can
help i'd really appreciate it.

1) I want to have a list in my applications that are populated by my
programs at runtime from an XML file. Each like would have an icon and text
next to it. How can this be done.
2) if this is possible then how can i add events at runtime? for example on
click for each of the items in the list populated from Q.1. i,e if
listitem1_clicked {do this} if listitem2_clicked {do that}
3) if i want to have the background color for each listitem with a different
color. e.g one white and one blue.

one more thing if anyone can post some sample code to illustrate the
