Is there a way i can have a user's keyboard set to UPPERCASE while
they are using a combo box that has records in both upper and lower
case?

ie

the combo box has a list of cities & states in the following format:

Chicago IL
Boston MA
Pheonix AZ

(where the first letter of the City is uppercase and the rest of the
city name is in lower case & and the state code is in upper case)

When the user's keyboard is in uppercase mode (which is 99% of the
time) they begin to key in CHICAGO (again keyboard set to uppercase)
and the dropdown box begins to update to the correct record except it
seems to get confused with all the uppercase letters. WHen the
keyboard is set to lowercase mode this dropdown box updates to the
correct record perfectly.

is there a way to correct this problem?

tks
Steve
