I just updated my Avast antivirus software on my WinXP PC - now, when I
open TCPView(which is a program that acts like Netstat, which shows
connections in real-time), I see 3 instances of "ashMaiSv.exe" in listening
mode.
It shows up under my Startup tab, along with ashDisp - more than likely
also associated with Avast.
Automatic updater? I don't think it's spyware, 'cause Spybot didn't pick
anything up. Should I worry about having this running in the background,
or can I clear it out of the Avast folder in the Program Files directory
after I shut it off in Startup?
