I did a fresh install of Win2K pro and SP4 and rollup. I think I have all
the updates. This one, Security update for Microsoft Data Access Components
KB832483 keeps coming up as ready for install. I have installed it several
times and each time it says your computer has been successfully updated, no
reboot required, and within a few minutes a new update is ready and it is
the same thing. I went to the update websight and the only update I need is
this one. I install - successfully - and the next time I go to the websight
it wants to install it again.

Any ideas on how to fix, stop this from happening?

I had a similar problem. When I went and checked my list of
successfull updates at Windows Update, it showed this update as being
a problem.

The ONLY fix I have found is to turn off automatic updates and update
my Win 2k pro sstem manually.
