Hi

Well, with SP2 you have a firewall, look in your control
panel - securitycenter.

This is maybe a bug in MSAS, users have reported this
before.

Try this program:
http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

After this, try a manual update with menu File-Check for
updates

If Internet Explorer or Outlook Express are set to "work offline" you will
see this message from Check for Updates.

>I had this happen too. After you start this sometimes it

takes a few seconds. If you are on dial up sometimes it
takes a couple of minutes and will start on its own. If
not you probably still have a virus or a spy. Try running
panda free scan use a space between each word in the
address bar, this has helped me a few times. Hope this
helps.
