I get an error that windows has a problem
unmnountable_boot_volume which leads me to a blue telling
me to reboot.

I do this with f8 and get the options of safe mode - etc.
no matter what I select it leads me to the blue screen of death

how can I get past this to do a recovery long enough to
obtain very important files
