Unknown nt operating system code 6 detected.

Every time I open Control Panel or type anything into the search box on the
Start menu (and a few other random places), I get the following two errors:

- Unknown NT operating system code 6 detected.
- Read config file failed

Sometimes these two errors pop up 4 times in a row. I cannot find anything
about this anywhere on the web. Does anyone know what this is and/or how to
correct it?

I am running Vista Beta 2 Ultimate (Build 5384.winmain_beta2.060518-1455). I
have installed several applications:

- Office 2007 Beta 2
- Money 2006
- NetBeans 5.5
- GotoMyPC
- Skype
- Acrobat Reader 7

I am on a Toshiba Satellite A75-S226. I had to install the Windows XP Video
drivers to get video in Vista - glass does not work (ATI Radeon Mobile 9800).
I had to do the same for the adio drivers as well. All other drivers detected
fine. Does not seem to be any issues with video or audio otherwise. No system
errors, not even a crash or a BSOD for anything...just these annoying/criptic
