Unknown Error

Hello.

I bought a few months ago a new Acer laptop with Windows Vista. While I was
downloading my e-mails last week, I receive the same message from a friend
TWICE. The first message was alright and I saved it, as I usually do, but the
second one, I'm not able to move it because anytime I select it, a pop-up
appears with the message "unknown error" and i cannot delete it.

Can you help me, please?

I cannot seem to get Windows Mail to work at ALL. Here is the send error I
recieve:

The host '(E-Mail Removed)' could not be found. Please verify that you
have entered the server name correctly.
Subject 'Emailing: 101_1089', Account: '(E-Mail Removed)', Server:
'(E-Mail Removed)', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket
Error: 11003, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

Do I have something not set up right?

Help... anyone?? Thanks!

Windows Mail cannot access http (webmail) accounts.
If you wish to access Hotmail, then you will have to download and install
the newer Windows Live Mail.

You have entered a server name, (E-Mail Removed), that is invalid.
Do you have a paid MSN account? Unfortunately, I don't have the
proper settings for an MSN account. When you used MSN successfully
before, how was that done? Through a web browser or through an email
program?

Download and install this fix, with Windows Mail not running:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works
in other folders. If you don't know whether to use the 32-bit
version or the 64-bit version, try the 32-bit version first. Certain
common antivirus programs, such as most of those from Norton or
McAfee, or a recent one from Trend, tend to cause such problems,
so if you have such a program, remember where to find the fix -
you're likely to need it again, although not immediately.
