In Word 2000 the units of measure can be changed by going
to the Tools | Options |General tab. In Excel 2000 the
units of measure can only be changed by going to the
Regional Settings feature in the Windows Control Panel.
Can anyone tell me where you change the Units of measure
in PowerPoint 2000?

Thx.

PowerPoint ruler shows inches instead of centimeters. Or vice versa.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - If you are using Office 2003, you should install this
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello Linda,

PowerPoint for Windows (all versions) does not have the ability to change
the units of measurement from within the application and, instead, relies
on the "Measurement System" from the "Regional and Languange
Options"control panel.

If it's important to you (or anyone else reading this message) PowerPoint
to provide the ability to control the units of measurement from directly
within PowerPoint as either a PowerPoint setting or a per-presentation
setting, don't forget to send your feedback to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
