I want to uninstall AOL IM, but when I select it from add/remove programs,
once the request starts, this comes up "application failed to start because
idlemon.dll was not found. re installing the application may fix the
problem''
what's up with that...........why won't AOL let me remove it componants. I
do NOT have AOL.....just the IM.

thanks, after i posted this, i opened up the AOL im...and selected uninstall
from there, and wallah......but not before they questioned me several times
as to 'why'.
