Do you have a LS-120 drive? LS-120 drives are drives that are connected to
a computer's IDE controller, Not the floppy controller. During text-mode
Setup, Windows 2000 Setup only recognizes a standard floppy disk drive as a
device for loading additional drivers. Enable the LS-120 in the BIOS.

: Hello,
:
: I am running into a very odd error. I am reinstalling
: a box using the Windows 2000 Server CD. The server has
: an Adaptec 2400A RAID controller. I hit F6 at the
: beginning so I can install the RAID driver, but when it
: reaches the point where I have to hit S to Specify
: Additional Device I get the following error:
:
: An expected error (0) occurred at
: line 962 in D:\nt\private\ntos\boot\setup\oemdisk.c.
:
: Press any key to continue.
:
: I hit any key and it takes me back to where I hit S
: again. I have no other options after that, I just keep
: getting the same error. I have tried the installation
: using three different Windows 2000 Server CDs, and two
: different CD-ROM drives.
:
: Does anyone else have any recommendations?
