First, don't worry about the WDM devices warning, Mainframe, it's been a
known fault in the ATI configuration check for a long time and means
nothing. As long as you've got ATI WDM Rage Theatre and Specialized MVD WDM
VBI Codec showing in Device Manager without warnings, that should be Ok.
Your TV Player not initialising may be connected to your MMC Library
problem: several ATI installations have not included a needed .dll
(atioops.dll - I kid you not) and this causes the Library not to work.
Although the .dll is only needed for the Library, its non-presence does seem
to prevent the TV Player booting. The immediate workround is to uninstall
the Library app, but if you check the Rage3D forum at
http://www.rage3d.com/board/, you should be able to find a thread on this,
giving a location to download the .dll and instructions for installing it.
