When one particular user logs onto our terminal server
using Remote Desktop XP the server unexpectidly crashes.
When restarted there is an entry in the event viewer that
states:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck
was: 0x000000c2 (0x00000007, 0x00000b8a, 0xa22ef638,
0xa22ef640). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump
was saved in: C:\WINNT\MEMORY.DMP

Can anyone suggest what this means and if it gives any
clues as to why the server is rebooting?

many thanks for all your help

Rob,

More information on the Stop 0x000000C2 error can be found in the following article.

265879 - How to Debug "Stop 0xC2" or "Stop 0x000000C2" Error Messages
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];265879

If you are not familiar with or comfortable with debugging a memory dump file I would suggest openning a support incident
so the engineer can analyze the dump for you.
