Hi,
1. How do you purchase/add a cal for windows 98 platform?
2. Does a user connecting from home using windows XP need
to purchase a cal?
3. I have two users that need to connect and run a foxpro
application, should I try to setup/modify the 2 admin
connections or switch it over to application mode? The
application runs fine in admin mode with just one user,
will two users in admin mode muck up the databases?
4. When you switch a server over from admin to application
mode do you really need to reinstall everything? The list
of programs it showed (that might not rum properly)looked
like a listing of everything installed to date?
5. For licensing servers, can they be - domain
controllers, or a server in a work group, but NOT a mamber
server in a domain?

Purchase it through your normal vendor. If you mean a TS CAL,
install in the TS Licensing server. For a server CAL: in the
Licensing applet in Control Panel.

XP Home edition : yes, a TS CAL is needed
XP Pro : a free TS CAL will be issued by the TS Licensing server

That could very well happen, yes. When you install an application
on a TS in Application mode, you do so after putting the system in
"install mode". This ensures that all users get their own settings
in the registry. Failure to follow this procedure can lead to all
kinds of problems with user settings.

Yes, you will see a list of all programs installed previously. You
only will have to reinstall those programs that will be run by
more than one user. So if you have a backup program running on the
server, that's no problem. But reinstall your FoxPro application
(uninstall it first, then switch to application mode, then
reinstall).
