Troubles with Opengl subsystem

The problem has been for the games Jedi Knight (2), Medal of Honor Allied
Assault, Star Trek Voyager Elite and Return to Castle Wolfenstein (basically
games running the Quake 3 engine). The games fail when trying to initialize
the OpenGL driver, and the last line in the error output is:
GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

I have tried every "fix" imaginable and still cannot find the magic
solution.

I seemed to have had the problem start when I tried to install a demo, could
have been MOH.

P4 2 gig, 512 RDRAM, Asus P4T-E, Radeon 9600Pro.

Hate to see those Openly games gather dust.

Ron

Oh, and using 3.8 drivers, though previous ones caused same problem.

I had this same problem on a Win2000 system. I had to copy opengl32.dll to
the game.exe directory to fix.
