Trouble with Audio on screensavers

Strange problem here, my sound/audio works on everything on my
computer..i.e. music, cds, volume controls, icon sounds, themes..etc. But
for some reason l cant get any sound to play on any of my screensavers even
though the "enable sound" is checked on them under settings. The only thing
l can think of is maybe..my audio driver is a Sound Blaster PCI that came
with my computer when it was windows 98 and l have since then installed
windows 2000 proffesional. l cant find a current update for the audio
driver..BUT all the other sound on my computer works fine..it only the
screensavers that have no sound. l hope the solution is simple and l just
overlooked the obvious here..but anyone with any ideas how to fix this would
be greatly appreciated.
