I need a lot of files to be open at the same time, but
Windows XP has a limit for this so it won't let me open
more than 509 files at the same time.
So I need to increase this limit that Windows XP
currently allows, so I can have more opened files at the
same time. But how can I change this? Is this setting in
the registry or in some system file?

I've searched all over the net and haven't found the
answer, so you are my last hope.
Please help.

I have SP2 with the latest updates
