Tribes 2 lag?!?!?

Sup again all...

For all of you our there who own and play tribes 2.....
agree with me here..... its an awsome game... well....
when you get 128 players and a "DD" (Duel Dedicated)
playing a 3 houre game of Katabatic any way....

here's the prob....

Im running tribes 2 on Win'XP Home, on a Pent'4 /2.6GHZ,
512RAM Computer... with DirectX 8 and a Gforce4 TI 4400
Graphics card...... thats all nice S**t... top stuff in
march this year..... but for sum reason the game lags
like im playing it on a Pentium 1 at 1Mhz..... you
know.... how when u turn the graphic detail up to full on
any game.... the game suffers a bit of lag...... this
happens on the lowest graphic detail !!!!!

need to know how to "de-Lag" the game........
