The author and other details of a track changes document does not appear in
the balloon tooltip as normal. It only appears when I open the review pane to
locate the comment. How do I see the author and time and date in the balloon
Tooltip?

Are you seeing the tooltip at all? Do you have the balloons that appear in the
margins activated? Or are they turned off?

No, I do not see the tooltip at all. Both the balloon and Margin boxes are
activated in Tools|Options|Track changes. If this helps, you may want to know
that this only happen if this user logs on to this particular PC, it does not
happen to any of her colleagues if they log on to her PC and open the same
file.

The comments are there but not the Tooltip with Author etc.

Any thoughts would help.

I have now found a fix for this problem. All I had to do was to delete the
Local user profile on the PC. Also, I went into Tools|options|View, and under
"show", i checked the screen Tip box. Done and dusted!! Thsnks for your help

Insert/AutoText/AutoText. There's a checkbox at the very top about AutoComplete.
Is that activated? If not, activate it and see if that makes a difference.
