Toolbars: selection mix-up

I just added an anit-virus software.

It did/does not give me options of whether or not to add
it to the Toolbars, it just did it.

In going to View|Toolbars| it shows up along with other
programs that I have assigned there. It has a check in
front of it, indicating for it to be visible.

I unchecked it. But a different toolbar dissappeared.
Checking it brought that toolbar back.

Unchecking the software toolbar that is errantly
dissappearing, took off the anti-virus program. Checking
it, brings it back.

So, they are just reversed.

I tried unloading the anti-virus software, then reloading
it, but that had no effect.

Where in the registry I can reset these values?

Or an easier way?

Bob

this may be more of a headache then you want to work
with. If I were NOT required to fix this I would just
live with it.

however if I WERE Required to fix this then I would start
searching the registry with keywords such as: Systray
(involved search), AntiVirus Program name (note other
naming conventions this program uses while you search with
there application name. Then search those to), and also
search for the program that the antivirus software tweaked
using the same search method. Key things to look for are
Systray and Path names, pointers of any kind and the
like. Real headache to try and resolve. Good Luck!!
Also you may want to opt for the easy way out and email
the tech support of the antivirus's company. Odds are
they will know what to do.
