A question for you : someone of you know a freeware able to do the same
things of Advanced Disk Catalog (Adc, a sharareware tool) ?

I saw one of my friends using this shareware software called Advanced Disk
Catalog. It scans all volumes you want (hard-disk, Cd-rom, Dvd and other
media) and collect all names of files and data about files, it collect also
data stored in compressed files and has a quick search tool. Thanks to Adc
my friend can store on hard disk all data of his volumes and search a file
in a easy and quick way, asking to Adc also to copy or open that file (he
need to insert the invoked media of course ;-) .
