I am trying to import a movie on my Desktop into MM2 and I get a message that
the file cannot be imported. An Interface has too many methods to fire events
from.

What does this mean? Is there a fix?

it usually means you're trying to use an MPEG-2 file as a souce, and it
won't work

see my Import Movie Source Files > Video > MPEG-2 page for some info about
conversion

It looked as though I was saving it as Mpeg-1, but perhaps not. I was able to
convert the file using TMG (?) (forgot which product). Did this work at home
and saved the converted file to my Passport. Brought it to work and saved to
my work computer. Movie Maker accepted it, but after a few minutes of file (~
4 minutes of a 16 minute file), it would let me add any more scenes. I went
back home and completed the project there without a problem.
