Hi. Does anyone kinow if it is possible to allow file sharing but not allow desktop control to a user? The scenario is I would like to allow my family and friends to connect to the server but obviously don't want them fiddling around with my desktop and settings etc. If I give them the view only password, all they can do is look at my desktop (which seems very pointless unless I have some very exciting wallpaper?!) but if I give them the primary password, they can do anything they want to the computer. Is there no inbetween from these 2 extremes? As you can tell, my knowledge is very limited and all I know so far is self taught.
Cheers,
Dave
