Default Anti static strap and network cabling

2 Quick questions.

1. where can i buy, online, an anti static strap- mine is a little bit worn.

2. what is the maximum length for cabling on an intranet from the hub to the computer without boosters etc?

thanks.

Anti-static wrist strap suppliers: RS Farnell Maplins

Not sure about max length of Network cable, but off the top of my head I think it's about 10 Metres.

No idea about the intranet cable, but as for the antistatic strap...wouldn't delivery costs be more than the cost of the strap!

I'd hold on until next time ur looking to buy other computer components, and then just add the strap to the list. You can, of course get them in those crappy little Belkin computer toolkits from places like PC World...
