Default dvd recorder

Which DVD recording format does everyone think will be the eventual winner? I understand there are 2 formats left in the battle?

Can anybody recommend a good DVD recorder

Sorry m8...just seen this. We've actually been discussing this very topic in a 'Hardware/General' thread.

I too am trying to decide what to do on the DVD front, but the general advice at the moment is to wait for prices to drop.

Best performing DVDRW may be the Philips DVDRW228...but it's over £200.
