microsoft works

i installed microsoft word which wrote over my documents
saved in microsoft works when i go into the microsoft
works program it goes to note pad and all documents are
garlbled...it says it cant find microsoft works anymore
even though on programs microsoft works shows up but just
cant open it...diana manton

Once the Works documents have been converted to Word, they must open in
word. As to opening the application if I'm understanding you correctly,
have you tried reinstalling works.
