Why can't us 'Little people' start a new poll in the polls section?

Why can only the 'Big people' do it?

Because the polls started in that forum appear on the sidebar on every single page on the site.

If there are good polls created though, they can be moved into the "Poll" section

can you create a new one Under polls in the forum put 'Litttle People polls' and tell it not to put them on te side bar, is that possible?

I'd have to code that in, and it would take some time, so probably not in the forseable future. If you make a poll in "off-topic" or somewhere like that, it could always get moved into the poll section instead
