Movie maker works best with digital firewire devices. Diod the card come
with it's own capture software, if so use this, if not look on their site. -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media Laird of Glencairn www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "brumar" <brumar@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:8B67BB4D-E721-4998-BD8C-5ACAD101AFD8@microsoft.com... > I am trying to captue analog video through my Radeon RX70 XT-256PCIE graphic > card vi a 9 pin VIVO olug with S-video and composite video/sound capture. > The sound is captured fine but I am getting a 'Capture device not detected > message' > This is a new machine 3.2 GB Intek processor with all patches and updates > installed. > > Does anybody have any ideas?? |

Hi Graham!
There is no SW available on their site. and their card is built up around the 9 plug ViVO system. It is as if the machine does not identify that I am adding and external piece of HW (the Camera) and therefore MovieMaker does not find the signal. Thanks Bruce "Graham Hughes" wrote: > Movie maker works best with digital firewire devices. If you're using an ATI VIVO card for analog capture, you should use the ATI
MultiMedia Center software that comes with the card (or can be downloaded from their website). -- Cari (MS-MVP) Windows Client - Printing/Imaging and Hardware www.coribright.com "brumar" <brumar@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:8B67BB4D-E721-4998-BD8C-5ACAD101AFD8@microsoft.com... >I am trying to captue analog video through my Radeon RX70 XT-256PCIE >graphic > card vi a 9 pin VIVO olug with S-video and composite video/sound capture. > The sound is captured fine but I am getting a 'Capture device not detected > message' > This is a new machine 3.2 GB Intek processor with all patches and updates > installed. > > Does anybody have any ideas?? > |
