When I save a movie to DV-AVI format, it seem that the titles cause a
dropout of the sound occasionally. Anyone else have this problem? Any work around? Thanks, Curt. |

Workarounds:
1. Save in WMV format 2. Save in DV AVI in two passes. First pass with titles but without sound. Then merge with sound in second pass. -- Rehan www.rehanfx.org - get more effects and transitions for Windows Movie Maker "Curtis Sibley" <a37chevy@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:3Gatd.149503$V41.82486@attbi_s52... > When I save a movie to DV-AVI format, it seem that the titles cause a > dropout of the sound occasionally. Thank for the advice. Can you give me some more help about how to save in
two passes? Guess I'm not smart enough... Thanks, Curt. "Rehan" <info@nospamrehanfx.org> wrote in message news:uV$xrpG3EHA.1292@TK2MSFTNGP10.phx.gbl... > Workarounds: > > 1. Save in WMV format > 2. If the sound that gets affected by the titles is in music channel... then
just remove it from there and save as DV AVI. Now import the saved file in another poject and apply the previous music track. If the problem occurs in the movie's own audio track then : 1. save a WMV movie with maximum res profile say "movie_goodaudio.wmv" 2. save again using DV AVI profile say "movie_goodvideo.avi" The avi would have bad audio because of the titles but dont worry. The good audio is in WMV. (make sure it is so). 3. Now in another project bring both WMV and DV AVI movies. 4. Move the avi file in the video track. Disable its audio by right clicking in timeline view and selecing Mute 5. Drag the WMV in the music track (yes you can place a "movie" int he music track). 6. Save as DV AVI. This dv avi movie should have a good audio track as well as good video. -- Rehan www.rehanfx.org - get more effects and transitions for Windows Movie Maker "Curtis Sibley" <a37chevy@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:UJktd.203923$HA.199998@attbi_s01... > Thank for the advice.
