When finished

editing and saving and completing project, how do I get rid of the file names
of collections. I have deleted contents but cannot find how you delete the
names.

If you mean the collections...then if everything is in a collection that you do
not want anymore simply right click the collection and choose
Delete...otherwise select all the items within the collection that you want to
delete and right click and select Delete

If you want to delete a collection folder, right-click the icon and choose
Delete.

This removes that particular collection of clips from Movie Maker but not
the captured video files from your MyVideos folder.
