Default When i try to impot a file it does nothing!!


HEY,
Im having problems---1st of all i went into my movie maker program to find
it empty--no collections??? i still have all my clips but there not in the
prgram... soo i tried to import them but when i click on the file it just
goes back to the program and does NOTHING
please help its very FRUSTRATING!

What type files are they.... if MPEG-2 or MOV files which Movie Maker can't
handle, you'll need to convert them into other types like AVI.

If normal file types and your collections were working fine before... you
might have a corrupt database collection.... see the Managing > Collections
page to see where the file is. Deleting a corrupt one would let Movie Maker
start over with a new one. Just be careful not to delete a good one - copy
it to another location first if you think it's still good.....

Movie Maker doesn't backup your collection database automatically.... if
it's important to you, a backup file will help in the future.
