Default CD not recognised or will not record

Hello,

In recent times several Movie Maker users have discovered that there CD ROM is
no longer capable of burning a CD.

Microsoft acknowledge that this can happen and give advice on how to rectify
it. Some users not familiar with the system registry or unwilling to edit it
themselves have understandably requested an alternative method for solving this
problem.

There is now a solution for this specific problem available as a download from
my website. Its called "Fix-It" The program itself is a frame work intended to
hold any future fixes that become available. The programs "Rename Codecs" &
"Delete Dross" will not be merged with Fix-It, this because Fix-It is intended
to be used once after which it should not be needed again. Fix-It does not have
a installer program because it does not need one. The program is completely
self contained and can be run from any location and that includes running it
over the internet.
