Hi Bob,
I'm don't have access to one of these devices, but MM 2.0 did not work
well with IEEE 1394 converters. In Movie Maker 2.1 which ships in Windows
XP Service Pack 2, we've done some work on making these converters work
better. XP SP2 will be available August 25, I'd suggest installing the
service pack and seeing if Movie Maker 2.1 works better with your device.

comes out.
