Default Lock text

Is there anyway to LOCK the "effect" or the text onto a clip? If i happen to
add a picture, it shifts the text onto the next clip.

No Kim,

Leaving the exact positioning of the text until the end of the project is
easier than trying to keep it in sync as you go.

Default RE: Lock text

I noticed you seem to know a lot about this program, in fact i just signed up
for your informative newsletter. I have one more question if you dont mind.
I am having trouble with my video / audio sync. I load my video and run the
movie and it works great. however once i burn it to a dvd via my dvd by
sonic, the video and audio get out of whack the further along the movie runs.
can you help me with this?

Hi Kim,

That audio issue is probably beyond MM2.... and in the MPEG2 files that
need to be created to prepare for a DVD. If your saved movie from MM2 plays
OK in Windows Media Player, then it's in the MPEG conversion process.

I burn fewer than one DVD a month, use MyDVD when I do, and have never
experienced such sync issues, so I can't do anything except pass along info
I read.... I use the defaults when I make a DVD.

The Problem Solving > Audio Issues page of my site has lots of issues and
some suggestions for audio issues associated with MM2...... posting to other
newsgroups such as microsoft.public.windowsxp.video, and checking the info
at DVDRHelp.com might get you quicker and better answers than posting on
this one.
