I am using MM2, capturing with a Texas Instrument IEEE 1394 card. The video
previews, acts like it is capturing, but then when I stop the capture & click finish.... I get a pop-up error: The specified video device is not responding. Verify that the device is connected properly and turned on, and then try capturing again. Again, the video will display, just will not capture. Thanks for your help. Mike |

Texas inst. cards have been somewhat of a pain in the past, is this an older
one or not? Try ensuring all other apps are turned off, inc internet/firewall/a-virus/screensaver etc. Power cam from the mains defrag hdd before capture. There is enough space? dv-avi is 13 gb per hour.
