Default Help with installing MM2

Hello! I have an huge problem...I've been already in papa
john's site and tried everything but MM2 doesn't work!
the last thing that I tried was that "way" listed in the
KB article 825229, but in the end, when I press the .exe
file of "program files" to run the MM2, appears two
warning box saying only ERROR... i don't know what else
to do..
thank you

Do you run XP?
Does it say anything else with the word Error?

I added another method to the website page yesterday.... got it from someone
via email. Here's the extract from the page.

"8/10/04 - email - after several unsuccessful attempts to install version 2
over version 1, the user simply deleted the Movie Maker working folder. By
doing so, Windows XP refreshed the MM1 files, clearing up whatever
corruption was blocking the MM2 installation. The MM2 install then went
fine"
