You might want to save it in Movie Maker as a "DV-AVI" files and pass that
file to MyDVD.

Can you save to DV-AVI if you dont have a camera or something external? It won't let me save in that format. Each time a prompt comes up telling me that I need to attach my camera and turn it on. When it asks me to choose another, I choose "best for playback on computer." IS that the correct one if I want to burn it to a dvd +r using nero and then play it on a dvd player? Thanks,

Yes, you can save your Movie Maker file as DV-AVI

Select "File"
Then "Save Movie File"
Then "My Computer"
Enter a filename and path where you want to save the file
If you only see "Best Quality For Playback" on my computer (recommended)"
then click on "show more choices..."
select "Other Settings: DV-AVI (NTSC)

I don't use usb, but I think if you have captured using usb you don't have a
full dv-avi file to start with and so this option is then disbaled in MM for
output.
