After many months of frustration editing personal VHS tapes in MM I have
finished up with 30 hours and burnt in High Matt which allowed me to put up to 2 hours on a CD. Problem is they don't play on VCD players. Are there any on the market? If not can I convert the CDs to DVD? Dread the thought of starting again and converting direct to DVD. Ron |

depends where you are, in the US I believe there are some players starting
to come on to the market. For making a dvd you need a dvd writer, dvd authoring software, and best to use the dv-avi file from movie maker. Not sure whether dvd software will take the high matt file and convert it, but compressing an already comnpressed format does not give good quality. -- Graham Hughes MVP www.simplydv.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com "Ron Rainford" <rainford@cth.com.au> wrote in message news:eWo724JYEHA.2016@TK2MSFTNGP11.phx.gbl... > After many months of frustration editing personal VHS tapes in MM I have > finished up with 30 hours and burnt in High Matt which allowed me to put up > to 2 hours on a CD.
