No, it doesn't need the files, but it needs to be connected to the internet
so it can automatically get any needed codec... which is downloaded in the background from a Microsoft site. -- PapaJohn Movie Maker 2 - www.papajohn.org Photo Story 2 - www.photostory.papajohn.org .. Sounds like you took the project file and played it in your friend's Movie
Maker.... that's not the movie. You need to save the movie using File > Save Movie File.... -- PapaJohn Movie Maker 2: www.papajohn.org PhotoStory 2: www.photostory.papajohn.org .. .. I had the same problem not being able to view a friend's movie file.
I opened movie maker but didn't see any option to File > save movie file.... what am i missing? > Sounds like you took the project file and played it in your friend's Movie > Maker.... that's not the movie. You need to save the movie using File > Save > Movie File.... > -- > PapaJohn > Movie Maker 2: www.papajohn.org > PhotoStory 2: www.photostory.papajohn.org > . > . > "mauro barron" <maurobarron@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:5FC3541B-473E-4CBB-872C-52E2CF9FB55D@microsoft.com... > > i am connected to the internet. i open the file which i saved to a cd and > i opened the one i emailed to myself. they both have x's where the pictures > and music should be. > > -- > > mauro barron > > > > > > "PapaJohn (MVP)" wrote: > > > > > No, it doesn't need the files, but it needs to be connected to the > internet > > > so it can automatically get any needed codec... which is downloaded in > the > > > background from a Microsoft site. > > > -- > > > PapaJohn > > > > > > Movie Maker 2 - www.papajohn.org > > > Photo Story 2 - www.photostory.papajohn.org > > > > > > .. > > > "mauro barron" <maurobarron@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > > > news:EB1F7653-10F0-4E76-A508-33CC31A4C05B@microsoft.com... > > > > i made a movie with windows movie maker project at home. i wanted to > take > > > it to show a friend at her house to see it. she has windows movie maker > 2. > > > it opens the file but doesnt display pictures or sound. does the > computer > > > im viewing it from have to have all the files used in the movie. thanks > for > > > any replies > > > > -- > > > > mauro barron > > > > > > > > > |
