Default NO sound at all

I recently put back my previous video card. ATI 128 tv tuner/capture card. I have all the hook ups right, but I can't get sound to come on when trying to transfer it to the pc. The camera is working correctly, and everything works except the sound. I am thinking I will have to buy a new capture card... but I am SUPPOSED to be able to do it with this video card. I thought maybe I should download the new version 2.0 of Movie Maker and that would be the difference. But now I can't even get to the point where I can "configure" any devices... I get the error that "another device is using this, please configure" ... but when I click on ok to do that, the entire "configure" box then disappears! HELPPPPPP Please? Any ideas? I also made sure all the drivers on sound and video were up to date. I'm at a loss.

Default Re: NO sound at all

these cards are normally video in/out and audio needs to be connected via
the sound card. Try www.papajohn.org and check the analogue capture pages
for help with mm.
