Jim,

I have a saved project that includes titles, transition effects & music but I have been unsuccessful in saving the movie file. I have tried saving movie to my computer using different setting without success and also could not save the movie back to my DV camera. The project file looks great in Movie Maker, but I need to create a movie file so I can create DVD's or VHS tapes to give to the team. I am not sure if my project is too big or whether I need better software like Adobe Premiere? > > Here are the specs for my computer: > Dell Dimension 4600, Intel Pentium 4 at 2.60GHz with HT Technology > 1280 MB DDR SDRAM at 400 MHZ > 80 GB 7200 RPM ATA hard drive with 36 GB available > 200 GB external hard drive with 189 GB available > 4x DVD+R/RW CD-RW > 128MB DDR NVidia GeForce FX 5200 graphics card > > I have spent far more time trying to save this movie than it took to create the project. I am frustrated and would like to find the easiest solution as I am at the end of my rope and ready to tie a noose. > Thanks! |

PapaJohn,
I have been to your website and it has alot of useful information that I actually used as I created my project. Thanks! However, when I go to save the movie to my computer and choose other settings, I can see a setting for DV-AVI (PAL) but I don't see the setting for DV-AVI (NTSC) as described in the saving a movie section on your website. I have been told that (PAL) relates to formats in Europe and (NTSC) is a format for the U.S. Are these settings the same or do I need to get the (NTSC) setting in my program. I downloaded Movie Maker 2 from Microsoft from the U.S. so I'm not exactly sure why I have settings for Europe. Thanks for your help!! Jim S.
