Default audio in saved wmv

While watching my wmm file, video and audio are fine.
when i save the movie to my computer and watch it in wmp
there is no audio!!!!
I've already read papajohn's help files. There is either
no explaination there or I didn't understand it at all,
so please be specific with any suggestions.

Hi,

This is your first post to this newsgroup and you provide no specifics about
your computer, your source files and projects, or your choice of saving a
movie. Yet you ask for specific suggestions.

We can respond with specifics only to the degree that you provide the
specifics about your setup and your problems. It would be wrong of me to
guess.

The Problem Solving > Audio Issues page of my website has some info. Other
pages have more. Wish I knew what was missing or needed.

my computer is laptop with xp home. wmm2. my source
files are avi with some transitions. as far as i can
tell i dont' have a choice of how to save the movie. I
just click "save to computer" and follow the wizard, so
it gets saved as a wmv file.
