Default Re: Unistalling Moview Maker

Hello there,

Movie Maker itself is a fairly small file with equally small support files.
Movie Maker utilizes the media properties of Windows XP in order to deliver
the capability of video editing. Those core features can not be removed, if
they were XP itself would fail in several important areas which would
include the use of windows media player and any other media software that
relies on XP having those features.

You can delete the contents of the directory which is usually found at
c:\program files\movie maker with no difficulties at all, and that will
remove Movie Maker from your system.

Windows Movie Maker does not work all that well with capture cards, it is
instead aimed at the digital user. If you have other software that will
capture your video by way of that card you would do best by doing it that
way and then import the result to movie maker and proceed from there.

Hope this helps a little
