Default Burning DVDs

I've been told you cannot use anything but -r media in
the current crop of home DVD players. Is this true?

I've tried +r, +RW, but most cd players won't play them?

Default Re: Burning DVDs

All dvd players are different, try searching through the database at
www.dvdrhelp.com to see if yours is listed. Some play all of the formats inc
rw and some not. It can even make a difference at the bit rate that you use,
as some players can be very picky. Generally I have found the cheaper multi
region players to be the most compatible with all discs.

I'm a little confused by your last statement!! You'll never get a dvd to
play in a cd player, if that is what you mean.
