Sherri,

If the files don't go into MM2, you'll need to use the software that came
with the camera, or other software, to convert the files into something that
will work.

If you post info about the kind of file it is, and/or the specific model
number of the camera, maybe someone can help.

Ola

can you specify what problems you encounter when you try to import the
files?
In which format are your movies saved (*.mov, *.avi, *.mpg ...)?

thanks for answering my e-mail. I have a kodakeasy share camera dx4530. the file is a .mov file and mm2 doesn't recognize a .mov file. the list for mm2 says .avi,.mpg,m1v,mp2,.mpeg are the type files it will accept. Is there anyway to change a .mov file to one of these other file formats?

hi
I'm glad i'm not the only one who has a kodak easy share camera who is having this problem. My movie files say they are .mov files( which mm2 does not recognize). The import list for mm2 say .avi,.mpg,m1v,mp2,.mpeg files are the ones it will recognize. I'm looking for a program that can convert .mov files to one of the ones that mm2 will recognize. my e-mail address is thunderingcreek@yahoo.com. thanks sherri

Sherri,

See the Importing > Video > MOV page of my site. Rad Video Tools is a great
utility and it'll convert MOV files fine.

This is the best site ever!. I worked two weeks to fix the problem and couldn't! with your help the problem was fixed in 10 minutes!
