Pinnacle DC10 and Movie Maker dont work?

I have a Pinnacle DC10 and it works perfectly on my
computer with any soft, but not in those from Microsoft,
for example the Movie Maker.
Do you know why?

When the dc10 imports movie it is mjepg form, you should be able to export
it as an avi using studio's software. This will then possibly need
converting to type 1 avi, but you can use a free convertor from canopus to
do this. You should find links at

If you are trying to use the dc10 board with MM2 direct, this cannot be
done.
