I would like to zoom and pan on photos. How can I do this? I know that I could use the SpiceFX pack, but it costs money
. Any free things? |

There's an ease-in effect within MovieMaker 2.0 which will do a slight zoom
on photos (& video) which can be quite effective. However if you just have photos then you may want to check out PhotoStory which will do automatic zooms and pans and can produce very good effects with the minimal amount of work. Here's the link and there is a trial to download to see if you like it. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/plus/dme/Photo.asp Regards Dean Rowe This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Dean,
I'm going through the same process, and just bought Microsoft Plus! Digital Media so that I would be able to pan and zoom. Unfortunately, I am working on this project as a surprise for my wife, to give to her after the birth of our first child, and the date is approaching WAY too rapidly. If I had more time, I would try to find this answer without wasting a post, but HOW can I do this once I install Digital Media? I was expecting the Pan and Zoom Video Effects to be installed automatically in Movie Maker 2, but they aren't. How can I use this effect to pan and zoom on pictures IN Movie Maker? Thanks for the help, from a stressed out future father. >-----Original Message----- >There's an ease-in effect within MovieMaker 2.0 which will do a slight zoom >on photos (& video) which can be quite effective. Check www.photostory.papajohn.org for info about Photo Story and using it
conjunction with Movie Maker... but it's a separate program PapaJohn "Woodyhoos" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:d6c001c40ac2$7b234a20$a501280a@phx.gbl... > Dean, > I'm going through the same process, and just bought > Microsoft Plus!
